Jane's Wardrobe Regency Evening Dress

This silk evening dress is patterned to an original evening dress dating to 1816-19.

The embellishments are period correct but not the same as was on the original dress. The sleeve and bodice hem and the rope twist at the neckline are padded rouleau loops. The hem of the dress is also padded and there are padded tucks in imitation of padded rouleau loops at the hem.

The dress closes with hooks and eyes set alternately to minimise the chance of them coming undone as was the practise in the 19th century.

This is worn over a simple cotton slip, specially cut to compliment the dress available for £40
